Vickie Linehan

Principal

Vickie is excited to join the HOPE Christian Academy family as Principal for the 25-26 school year. Her educational journey began with homeschooling three of her children. This love of learning launched a professional educational career that has spanned 20+ years in public and private education. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Taylor University, followed by a Master of Education from Graceland University, an endorsement in Gifted Education from Ball State University, and completing the Principal Licensure Program through Indiana Wesleyan

University.

Vickie has an ability to connect with students of all ages and backgrounds, having taught in every grade from Kindergarten through high school. Her experiences range from serving in one of the first International Baccalaureate Schools in Indiana, to most recently serving as the K-12 Director of Curriculum,  Instruction and Assessment at Valley Christian Schools. Vickie is passionate about ensuring that  students and teachers have the tools and processes necessary to thrive. While at Valley she  designed and implemented a differentiated approach to reading and math at the elementary level  and launched a STEM program at the high school. She enjoys coaching teachers and providing  professional development.

Vickie and her husband Rob have four children – Chris & Erin (Brainerd, MN), Phillip (Chandler, AZ),  Colleen & Nate (Columbus, OH), and Patrick & Aubrey (and grandson Andy – Decatur, IN). When  she isn’t pouring her heart into education, Vickie’s adventurous spirit enjoys travel. Her extensive  travels, personal, missions, and school-related, have deepened her desire for reaching hearts  around the world with the Gospel.

But perhaps what truly defines Vickie is her deep-rooted faith and genuine desire to serve others.  Whether she’s leading Bible studies, organizing mission trips, or simply sharing a coffee with her  husband Rob, her authentic care for others shines through. As she joins the HOPE community,  Vickie brings not just her professional expertise, but her wholehearted commitment to partnering  with parents and the staff of HOPE to equip children – spiritually, academically, physically, and  emotionally – so that they may impact their community and world for Christ.

Her warmth, combined with her extensive experience and passionate dedication to Christ centered education, makes her a perfect fit for leading the next chapter at HOPE, where she looks  forward to partnering with families and staff to create a Christ-centered environment where every  student can grow in the knowledge and grace of God.
