Rachel is an Arizona native who graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Studies and a Minor in Spanish. She spent a semester living in Mexico as an intern for All Peoples Church Tijuana. Rachel also holds her TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) Certificate and has many years of ESL experience with both children and adults. Currently, Rachel speaks English, Spanish, and is learning Bahasa Indonesia. She believes that learning a foreign language opens opportunities to love people because when you can speak their heart language, you are showing them the heart of God.

Rachel’s hobbies include playing soccer, painting/drawing, petting other people's dogs, running, hiking, camping, and FaceTiming her nieces and nephews. She enjoys being a Youth Leader at Antioch Community Church and serving the overseas long-term teams. Her hope is to one day live overseas and teach English to at-risk children and youth.
