Assistant Registrar

As a former K-8 student of HOPE (2000-2010), Heidi is grateful and delighted to join the staff as of the 2024-25 school year.  She attended Valley Christian and earned her BA in Screenwriting from Grand Canyon University.

Heidi believes that her formative years at HOPE were a major contributor to her faith journey and that the education model created a foundation for self-reliance, organization, and time management. She is happy to be able to offer those skills, and her dedication to HOPE, to assist in the Student Records and Registrar duties for the school she loves.

Newly married, Heidi and her husband, Mychal, live on the East Coast with their beloved (70 lb.) Schnoodle, Atticus Finch, pursuing their shared passion for live theatre performance in NYC.  She is an avid reader, gamer, and writer, and enjoys making time to go “into the city” to audition, explore, and see Broadway and Off-Broadway shows.  Heidi and Mychal have also found real joy in gourmet cooking and refashioning recipes in their kitchen.

Heidi loves seeing God's hand in the unfolding of her life, and she recognizes His workmanship in the circumstances that return her to the school that empowered her with an excellent education, blessed her with a safe place for growing up in a challenging world, and cultivated her life-long aversion to Khaki pants!
