Amanda joined the HOPE family in 2000 when her daughters began attending the school in 3rd Grade and Kindergarten when the school originally opened as CrossRoads Community School.  She became an involved parent, assisting in classrooms and in the school office, and served as Parent Volunteer Coordinator for seven years.  Amanda feels blessed by the opportunity to use her skills in organization, creativity, and communication to provide the administrative support to this remarkable school as the Office Manager from 2009 until 2021.  With the advent of grandchildren and the implementation of technology that gives her the ability to work remotely, she is thrilled to be able to transition to a more flexible work schedule and still contribute her office competency to a school she loves.

Amanda and her husband, Kurt, both originally from the Seattle area, have lived in Chandler since 1990.  Amanda loves spending time with her family, cooking, reading, writing, acting as "momager" for her daughter's acting career, providing stimulating daycare for her extraordinary grandchildren, Brooklyn & Jensen, on-line scrapbooking, completing home decorating projects, and making herself available for advice and motherly friendship to her now adult daughters, Jasmine and Heidi.
