Kim Krell

Educational Interventionist

Kim feels blessed to join the HOPE team and have the opportunity to inspire and support learners both academically and spiritually. She was born and raised in Boulder CO and graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s Degree in Family and Consumer Resources. She earned her MA in Teaching Elementary Education from the Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO and currently holds additional endorsements in Early Childhood and Structured English Immersion. Additionally, she has received extensive training in phonics and mathematical problemsolving. She recently retired from the Chandler Unified School District after working for 30 years with many wonderful colleagues, families and students. Kim has taught 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades and for the past 17 years, 2nd grade. She firmly believes that every child is unique, lovable and capable of success.

 

Kim and her husband have been married for 29 years and have two beautiful adult “children”. They attend Arizona Community Church where Kim is active in the church choir and participates in a small group women’s bible study. Kim’s hobbies include cooking, reading, outdoor sports, and she cherishes spending time with her family and dear friends.
