Rebecca Hancock’s connection to HOPE Christian Academy began at the onset of her teaching career, when the school was called CrossRoads Community School. After graduating from Point Loma Nazarene University with a B.A. in Elementary Education in 2005, Rebecca taught for two years at CrossRoads Community School. Since that time, she has gone on to teach a variety of grade levels from kindergarten all the way through upper-level elementary classes in the public school system. Additionally, she has taught GED courses and supervised teachers through an online teaching program. She earned a Master’s of Education in the area of Curriculum Development and Instruction from Northern Arizona University in 2010 and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Educational Administration and Leadership and is grateful to the Lord for the opportunity to learn more as she serves children and families.
Rebecca rejoined the staff of HCA in the role of Principal in the summer of 2018. After thirteen years of teaching, she feels blessed by the opportunity to work with parents and teachers who collaboratively educate and pray for their students.
Rebecca enjoys hiking, basketball, reading, and playing music. She and her husband, Joey, live in Chandler with their son, Canaan, and are a part of Sun Valley Community Church.
