Meryn Van Bebber
Sixth Grade Teacher
Meryn joined the HOPE family as the 6th grade teacher in 2022. Serving children through ministry and teaching has been part of Meryn's life for about 15 years. Beginning with babysitting her neighbors, then serving in Children's Church, and leading summer camps, Meryn has had a passion for children knowing and following Jesus for the majority of her life.
She received a Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Economics at Baylor University in 2017, with the hope of serving underdeveloped nations, specifically in the area of education. After graduating, she worked as a financial advisor in Phoenix and was a student in Antioch's Discipleship School. After completing the discipleship school, she came on staff at Antioch. As the Antioch's receptionist and Children's Associate pastor, she built relationships with HCA families and staff, and was thrilled to become a substitute teacher for HOPE on a regular basis. A fulltime teaching position seemed like a natural progression and she was excited to be selected to fill the 6th grade opening when it came available.
She and her husband, Christian, are expecting their first child in September 2023. Their family attends Antioch Community Church.
