Admissions Information

HOPE Christian Academy welcomes students from any race, color, national or ethnic origin; our students come from a variety of educational backgrounds and experiences. Families who have home schooled for years find HOPE Christian Academy a very natural complement to their lifestyle.  On the other end of the spectrum, families transitioning out of a standard five day setting, find our school to be an extremely comfortable and easy adjustment.

HOPE Christian Academy is truly a partnered educational model.  As such, admission at HOPE Christian Academy requires a meeting with the administrator in part to determine that the educational model, selected curriculum, additional Home Based Learning components, parent volunteer obligation, and participation in the school’s educational and community driven activities correspond with the expectations of the incoming family.

Admissions Process:

Initial Meeting/Tour:  Interested families call to schedule an initial meeting and tour with the HCA administrator with at least one parent/guardian with or without the prospective student(s). Other family members are welcome to attend as well.  A tour is required before submitting an application.

Student Meeting:  The Administrator is provided an opportunity to meet prospective student(s).  This step can be completed with the initial scheduled meeting and tour or on a separate scheduled occasion, but must be completed prior to an application review by the Admissions Committee.

Admission Request Forms:  Parents submit completed 2018/2019 Request for Admission application, Tuition Agreement, and Personal Reference Forms.  These forms will be made available on the website under the Admissions tab beginning November 1, 2017.  Once a tour is completed these can be downloaded, completed, and submitted to our office in person during school hours, mailed via US Mail, or can be downloaded, filled and signed in Abode Reader, and then emailed as attachments to

Admissions Committee Review:  Before enrollment begins February 13, 2018, the HCA Admissions Committee will meet in late November and again just prior to February 5, 2018 to review prospective applications and determine those students eligible for acceptance to HCA. Parents will be notified of their student’s status within a week of these meetings.

Enrollment: Available spots for the 2018/2019 year will be determined once HCA current family registration is completed the week of February 5, 2018.   Eligible families will be notified of availability for their child’s admission to HCA via a phone call from the administrator by Monday, February 12th, at which time they will be instructed to complete the enrollment process with payment of the initial enrollment tuition fee of $200.

Admissions Overflow Pool:  Eligible students who are not contacted for the initial enrollment in February will be placed in the Admissions Overflow Pool.  Families will be notified of their placement in this pool and if openings become available, contacted for the opportunity to enroll.
