About Us

Mission Statement

"It is our commitment to partner with families to equip their children – spiritually, academically, physically, and emotionally – so that they may impact their community and world for Christ."

What are people saying "About Us"?

“HOPE Christian Academy has been such a gift to our family. My husband and I have been so grateful for the solid Christian education our children have received here at HCA. Our children have been challenged academically, in the classroom and at home.  We have loved having an active role in our children's education through this partial-home school model. I have also been involved in the ‘Moms in Touch’ prayer group for many years and consider it a privilege to lift up this sweet school to our Lord.”

- Melanie Walker

"HOPE Christian Academy has been such a blessing to our whole family! The staff and teachers care so much about each individual child. My daughter absolutely loves all of her teachers and I am looking forward to my youngest starting kindergarten this year. I love the time I get to spend with my kids on HBL days and the relationships that I have built with the teachers and other parents. HCA will always hold a special place in our lives!"

- Melissa James

"When our daughter started at HCA, we thought it would be a short-term respite from full-time homeschooling. What we found was a wonderful balance of classroom learning and learning at home that works perfectly for our family. Now all three of our children are at HCA. The classrooms are small and allow for individualized instruction and the teachers are incredibly talented and experienced. We love the partnership between teachers and parents, and our children are flourishing because of it. HCA has been an unexpected blessing for our whole family."

-Dave and Amy Stults

"The strong/parent teacher bond produced by this model provides students with a prep academy level education; academic excellence is reflected in the school's competitive test scores year after year.  The teachers are exceptional professionals who provide Godly role models whose lives are strong in character and personal discipline.  Each teacher donates countless hours above and beyond to prepare their students academically and spiritually.

The older students provide daily positive peer influence, and  HCA has implemented a buddy program that pairs older students with younger to promote literacy.  The school has been described as a "utopia" due to the strong bonds of the school community, and high parental involvement and volunteerism among families contributes to the optimism and faith we have in our school community as being exceptionally unique."

 - Current HCA Parent

“There are parents who would love nothing more than to home school their children and be a vital part of their education but, unfortunately, the task can be intimidating.  HOPE Christian Academy in Chandler has acknowledged this desire in parents, and it has responded by developing a program that blends learning in a Christian school with reinforcement of concepts in the comfort of home through parental guidance."

Statement of Faith

Detail with references in Appendix 1-click here

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God.
  • We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His Resurrection, His Ascension to the right hand of, and His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation, because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; that men are justified only by faith in the shed blood of Christ; and that only by God's grace and through faith alone are we saved.
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved receive eternal life and those who are lost receive eternal condemnation.
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
  • We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture.  (Detail in Appendix 2-click here**) **Parents please use your discretion when reading this appendix with your children.
